KORY KEETH

ANNOUNCER

From an early age Kory Keeth knew he wanted to announce rodeos and fortunately, had the gift of gab. After graduating high school, he set out to pursue his dream at North Eastern Oklahoma A&M. His announcing career started in the fall of 2012 at the age of 19 announcing every calf roping and team roping jackpots there at the college. He then went on to announce the 2013 Southwestern Oklahoma State University rodeo which led the way for two more college rodeos in the central plains region, including Kansas State and Fort Hays.

Kory’s young career has several highlights including the following: - 4x Kansas State University College Rodeo Announcer (2015-2018) - 4x Fort Hays State University College Rodeo Announcer (2015-2018) - 5x Gillette College Rodeo Announcer (2014-2018) - 3x American Royal Youth Invitational Rodeo (2015-2017) - Oklahoma High School Finals (2016) - 3x Missouri High School Finals Rodeo (2016-2018) - PBR Velocity Minneapolis MN Announcer (2014) - Lucky Dog Tour Announcer (2014-2018)

In 2017 Kory began his PRCA announcing career and has spent the last year traveling the country gaining as much experience as possible. His first PRCA announcing job was the Blue Earth, MN PRCA Rodeo in July of 2017. Kory takes pride in being sure he knows as much as possible about every contestant. On top of his announcing career, Kory enjoys operating the family Cow/calf operation as well as playing music and speaking at various church services at home and on the road. Kory is quoted as saying “I love Rodeo, the Fans, and I’m so thankful God has called me to be involved in this amazing sport.”

Rasmussen’s trademark is his enthusiasm for the sport and his ability to involve the entire audience in each of the rodeo events.  His commentary is down-to-earth, sprinkled with rodeo facts and trivia that make the show understandable and enjoyable for veteran fans and first-time enthusiasts.  “My job is to educate the folks that want to learn about the sport and to inform the folks that are already educated….and to entertain everyone!!”.
