Grew up in Laurel, Montana where he was introduced to rodeo in a unique way. Garrison's father was involved in rodeo starting from the PRCA to the college finals to the PBR. Garrison grew up going to a lot of western events where his love and passion for rodeo all started. It wasn't until Garrison was in college at Montana State University where he started announcing. From college rodeo slacks to little britches and high school rodeos he found his true passion of announcing rodeos. Flash forward to now Garrison is one of the new generation for Pro Rodeo announcers, announcing rodeos across the country including:

He is also a co-host of the "Starched" podcast with Clay Guardipee. 

Garrison recently has gotten married and lives in the great state of South Dakota with his bride Alyssa Allen.
